Dow Chemical CEO to step down after DuPont merger

Andrew Liveris will step down as chief executive of the Dow Chemical after the chemical heavyweight completes its merger with rival DuPont and the three-way split of the new combined company.

The 61-year old, who has been at the company for nearly four decades, announced his departure on Tuesday during Dow's fourth-quarter earnings conference call.
