ANDERSON, S.C. (From news reports) - Officials with Anderson County dispatch said multiple fire departments responded to a fire at a paper facility in Anderson Sunday morning, Sept. 20.

Dispatch reported the call about a fire at First Quality Tissue came in around 6:08 a.m.

According to the First Quality website, the company manufactures paper towels and bath tissue. The Anderson manufacturing plant opened in 2022.

Homeland Park Fire Department is the main responding agency. No injuries were reported.
