Fire at Kimberly-Clary facility in Mississippi

CORINTH, Miss. (From the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal) - A fire at a Kimberly-Clark facility in Corinth on Tuesday night was apparently related to a new roof being put on the building, according to authorities.

A Kimberly-Clark spokesman provided a statement, saying, "The Kimberly-Clark facility in Corinth experienced a minor fire on Tuesday evening. No one was injured, and we appreciate the quick response of local fire departments who responded to assist the site's emergency response team in extinguishing the fire."

The fire was reported at about 10:15 p.m. and reported to be under control at 10:54 p.m.

The incident occurred at one of Kimberly-Clark's Kendrick Road facilities, and a section of the roof was impacted.

There were no reports of injuries.
