Miami University Paper Science & Engineering Foundation announces winners of Williams Leadership Scholarships

OXFORD, Ohio -- The Miami University Paper Science & Engineering Foundation has announced this year's winners of the Williams Leadership Scholarships.

These full-tuition scholarships are highly competitive and winners are selected by committee from among applicants who are studying the paper science and engineering curriculum at Miami. Recipients are selected for their superior academic performance, creativity in problem-solving and demonstrated examples of exceptional leadership.

The scholarships are made possible through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Williams. Mr. Williams (retired) led an exemplary career, most notably as co-founder of the James River Corporation.

This year's winners are:

Emily Allen - Sophomore; Chemical Engineering-Paper Science Minor & Mathematics Minor

Katie Anderson - Senior; Chemical Engineering-Paper Science Minor (has accepted a job with Solenis after graduation)

Kirsten Anderson - Senior; Chemical Engineering-Paper Science Minor & Spanish Minor

Lindsey Berning - Senior; Chemical Engineering-Paper Science Minor (2 time winner; has accepted a job with Domtar Paper after graduation)

Anna Brandmeier - Junior; Chemical Engineering-Paper Science Minor

Emma Lipscomb - Junior; Chemical Engineering-Paper Science Minor (2 time winner)

Megan Stoy - Junior; Chemical Engineering-Paper Science Minor

Danielle Wardeiner - Senior; Chemical Engineering-Paper Science Minor & French Minor
