Rengo Co. has acquired an additional 29% of the issued shares of Murase Danboru Ltd., increasing its total ownership interest to 49%. The transaction builds on Rengo's initial investment in the corrugated packaging manufacturer in 2024, which had already led to collaboration in containerboard supply and contract manufacturing.

Murase Danboru, established in 1942 and based in Konan-shi, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, reported net sales of approximately 1.6 billion yen for the fiscal year ended September 2025. The company operates two plants and employs 49 people. Following the transaction, MY Holdings holds a 51% stake in Murase Danboru, with Rengo holding the remaining 49%.

Through the increased investment, Rengo aims to strengthen collaboration with Murase Danboru and further develop the Rengo Group's corrugated packaging business. The company is led by Director and President Genichiro Murase.
