GRAND RAPIDS, MI (From news reports) -- A subsidiary of a Michigan-based building materials firm is expanding its product availability across the U.S. and Canada. Edge, a manufacturer of exterior trim, siding and interior accents, announced it is growing its footprint by expanding its partnership with Associated Building Material Distributors of America, Inc. Edge is a brand of UFP Retail Solutions, a business segment of Grand Rapids-based UFP Industries. In addition to bolstering availability in the U.S., this represents the brand's entrance into Canadian markets, making its leading product lines, including its new ForgeWood thermally modified siding, available to more builders across North America. "ABMDA's strong presence in the market coupled with their dedication to excellence makes them an invaluable partner," Dom Beaulieu, managing director of Edge, said in a statement. "This expansion enables us to deliver our high-performing products to a broader audience and provide additional value to our customers by addressing the demand for both service and quality." Edge's ForgeWood, EvoTrim treated wood and the Timeless line of interior accent boards now are rolling out to ABMDA member distributors through the end of 2025. Headquartered in Grand Rapids with facilities in North America, Australia, Europe and Asia, UFP Industries is a holding company whose affiliates serve retail, construction and industrial customers.
