Management Changes at Hamburger Recycling

Starting January 1, 2026, Hamburger Recycling is introducing key organizational changes to strengthen its leadership team.

We are pleased to announce that Sándor Rudnay has been appointed Managing Director and Chairman of the Management Board, joined by Board Members Stefan Riepl and Slobodan Simović.

Sándor Rudnay joined Hamburger Recycling in 2018 as Financial Director, where he drove key initiatives in finance, controlling, accounting, and M&A. He was appointed as Regional Director of Czech Republic and Hungary. As of January 1, 2026, Sándor has taken on the role of Managing Director, leading the company toward sustainable growth and innovation.

He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick. Fluent in German and English, Sándor combines strong financial expertise with a passion for sustainability and is an avid supporter of electric vehicles.

As we welcome this new chapter, we also bid farewell to our longtime Managing Director, Andreas Walser, who will continue his career at Hamburger Recycling as Regional Director for Türkiye. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Andreas for his dedication and for pioneering innovative management methods during the early stages of our Recycling Division.

Building on this strong foundation, Hamburger Recycling enters 2026 with renewed passion and clear guidance of the new Management Board.

The first 20 years of Hamburger Recycling were a successful circular story. From one depot, the company has expanded to 13 countries with 50+ locations and 1.600+ employees.
