Well, the Chrysler strike was even shorter than the GM one. I don't think we learned a thing from that about how Cerberus will handle the paper industry.

In case you missed it, last week some US congressional aides were to make a fact finding trip to a couple of locations. As a precaution, the committee chair recommended they be vaccinated for diphtheria, influenza, tetanus, Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B. Their destination? Wild and exotic Talladega, Alabama and Concord, North Carolina to observe NASCAR races.

I love the entrepreneurial spirit in the United States. Here is the latest local example. It is about 45 miles to the Atlanta Airport (Hartsfield-Jackson) from our county. This is through some of the most brutal traffic in the country. And, of course once you arrive, parking, check-in and security are just nightmares. At the local airfield, Briscoe Field, some entrepreneurs have started a service that flies you to Hartsfield-Jackson for about $75.00 (the same price as a taxi or limo). You avoid the traffic, but more importantly, you land inside security at Hartsfield-Jackson, bypassing the most difficult part of your trip. Great idea.
