Well, maybe the retail consumer is more savvy than we thought. It has been widely reported this week that Honda is dropping the Accord hybrid. Apparently the cost/benefits on this automobile make no sense and the consumer has figured this out. Perhaps this will serve notice to others trying to push green products at all costs.

Coca-Cola is receiving excellent press on their corporate-wide water recycling project. Of course, we have been doing this in the pulp and paper industry for years--our problem has been our lack of recognition that public relations for such efforts are important and quite valuable contributors to positive perceptions.
