Appvion Welcomes Linnea Keen as President

APPLETON, Wis. (News release) - Appvion, an M2S Group Company and leading innovator in direct thermal and specialty coating solutions, announced that Linnea Keen has been named President, succeeding Kevin Clunie.

Keen joined Appvion in November 2025 as Strategic Sales Director, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the pressure-sensitive labels and specialty papers industry. Since joining the company, she has played a key role in advancing Appvion's commercial strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and reinforcing the company's competitive position in the market.

"Linnea is an incredible person and strong leader. I am very proud to have her lead our Appvion business," said Paul Charapata, CEO of M2S Group. "Her strategic growth mindset, market relationships and commitment to her team make her the perfect leader for Appvion as we continue to invest in innovation and deliver exceptional value for our customers."

Prior to Appvion, Keen held several senior leadership roles across the industry, including President and CEO of TLMI and Vice President of Sales, North America, at UPM Raflatac. Her background includes extensive experience in sales leadership, strategic growth initiatives and collaboration across the label and packaging value chain.

As president, Keen will build on Appvion's strong foundation while continuing to invest in innovation and sustain the company's leadership in direct thermal materials. In alignment with M2S Group's long-term vision, her leadership will help guide Appvion as it delivers value for customers, accelerates innovation and drives long-term growth.

"I'm honored to lead Appvion and work alongside such a talented and dedicated team," Keen said. "As the market leader in direct thermal solutions, Appvion is well positioned to continue advancing innovative material coating solutions while serving our customers and markets at the highest level."
