AUSTRALIA (News release) -- Beach has partnered with prominent recycling and manufacturing company Visy through a new two-year natural gas supply contract.

Visy, which produces paper, cardboard, glass and other food and beverage packaging employs over 7,000 employees across Australia and New Zealand.

Beach Managing Director and CEO Brett Woods said the sales agreement reflects Beach's focus on

supporting local industry by delivering critical natural gas to the Australian domestic market.

"Partnering with one of the largest industrials in the east coast gas market, with sites in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland aligns with our company vision to become Australia's leading supplier of domestic energy" Mr Woods said.

"Natural gas will play a critical role in the nation's transition to a lower carbon future by providing a reliable energy source. And this new agreement with Visy enhances energy security for a key Australian manufacturer ensuring Beach can continue to support local jobs by supplying local industry well into the future. At Beach, we want to work with gas users to recognise the highest value of use for natural gas lies in its role in manufacturing a wide range of goods essential for everyday life and supporting jobs and the Australian economy."

All Beach equity natural gas from South Australian, Victorian and Queensland operated and non-operated interests is supplied to the east coast domestic market. Beach marketed 19% of the east coast's gas supply in FY25.

Ryan Santowski, Visy's Group General Manager for Energy, Water and Waste, said the deal would help power Visy's manufacturing operations.
