James Lomax assumes the role of Managing Director for the UK and Ireland Packaging Division at DS Smith. He succeeds Paul Clarke and moves from his current position as Director of Supply Chain and Operations for the company's EMEA Packaging Division.

Lomax brings over eight years of experience at DS Smith across sales, marketing, innovation, and operations. The appointment was announced by DS Smith, an International Paper company.

In his new position, Lomax will lead the division's strategy following its integration with International Paper. His immediate priorities include ensuring operational safety and engaging with sites, teams, and customers across the UK and Ireland.
