Fatal workplace accident at RR Donnelley facility

BOLINGBROOK, Illinois (From The Herald-News) -- A Wisconsin man died Wednesday, 16 March 2016, in a workplace accident at a Bolingbrook RR Donnelley warehouse, authorities stated, when he was pinned between two semitrailers.

Kevin A. Schneider, 57, of Green Bay, was training a new semi driver at the RR Donnelley warehouse according to Bolingbrook police Lt. Carter Larry.

Schneider was spotting the trainee as the trainee parked a vehicle, Larry stated in an email, when Schneider stepped between two semis, was pinned and died instantly.

He was pronounced dead at 1:53 p.m. at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, according to the Will County Coroner's Office. An autopsy revealed he sustained multiple crushing injuries.
