Lecta, Aligned with the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and Working to Ensure its Full Implementation

Lecta is fully aware that wood --the raw material used to manufacture our products-- is a renewable resource sourced from forests and forest plantations. Protecting these natural areas is essential for the global CO2 cycle and for our planet. The responsible sourcing of wood and wood-derived products, within the framework of a Chain of Custody system that ensures the traceability of these raw materials, is the foundation of our operations.

In keeping with these principles, Lecta is fully aligned with the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) goals to combat deforestation and forest degradation in supply chains. At Lecta, we have been actively working for some time to comply with the strict requirements of the EUDR across the entire Group as of December 30, 2025.

The EUDR is a crucial step by the European Union in its efforts to fight deforestation and poses a significant challenge for all stakeholders involved. To better understand this new regulation, its implications, and how Lecta is preparing for its implementation, we have provided our customers with a document outlining Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on the EUDR, available on Lecta's website.

At Lecta, we remain committed to constant improvement to help create a more sustainable world.
