LandVest has been retained by Rayonier as transaction manager for the sale of the Evergreen Timberlands, 62,160 acres located in South Alabama and Mississippi. The properties represent a well balanced collection of southern pine plantations located in some of the most robust forest products markets in the Gulf South.

Approximately 70% of the property is in pine plantation with the balance largely comprised of well stocked natural hardwood stands and forest roads. The plantations have been managed for high yield pulp and sawlog production.

Each of the Evergreen sale packages offers unique characteristics and market areas with the combination representing a balanced mix of age classes and diversified wood markets. The plantation areas demonstrate site indexes exceeding 75 feet (base age 25) across the ownership, indicative of the long-term silvicultural investment in pine production.
