Rottneros CEO Lennart Eberleh has resigned and will leave during the first half of 2026

Lennart Eberleh, CEO of pulp producer Rottneros, has resigned to take up another position outside the company. He will leave his position during the first half of 2026, according to a press release.

"Lennart has been CEO of Rottneros since 2016 and has done a solid job of developing the group into the strong position the company has today in a number of selected niches in the pulp market, together with an efficient production apparatus," says Per Lundeen, Chairman of the Board of Rottneros.

Eberleh said that he had received an offer he could not refuse and that he would not be leaving the forest industry entirely with the transition to his new employer. He added that his new position would be announced this week.

The company is beginning the process of finding a successor to Eberleh.

Rottneros has had a difficult 2025, falling by almost 64 percent on the stock market.
