CHICAGO, Illinois -- RR Donnelley & Sons Company today (8 June 2015) announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Courier Corporation, one of America's major book manufacturers as well as a leader in content management and customization in new and traditional media.

Courier Corp. said this past Friday that its shareholders have voted to approve the company's US $261 million sale to R.R. Donnelley & Sons Inc.

In a press release, Courier officials said 78 percent of company shares were voted in favor of the agreement.

Shareholders also voted to approve, on an advisory (non-binding) basis, the compensation payable to certain executive officers of Courier in connection with the transaction.
