Saica Pack Livingston has been recognised for its commitment to innovation after winning the Self-promotional Print category at the Digital Labels & Packaging Awards 2026, held at The Kia Oval in London.
The award celebrates the site's investment in advanced digital printing technology and the expertise of the Livingston team in developing innovative packaging solutions that enhance both speed and quality for customers.
The winning entry showcased the capabilities of Saica Pack Livingston's Digital Printer, which has expanded the site's digital corrugated printing capabilities by bringing production in-house. Printed directly onto corrugated board manufactured on Saica's onsite corrugator, the prototype demonstrated a range of premium print effects, including tactile and gloss varnishing, simulated embossing and debossing, and multi-height tactile finishes, all produced without the need for conventional tooling.
By combining digital printing with in-house corrugated board production, Saica Pack Livingston can provide customers with rapid, high-quality prototypes and short-run samples while streamlining the development process. The technology also supports greater flexibility during product development, enabling designs to be refined more efficiently before full-scale production.
The award reflects Saica's continued investment in innovation and its focus on delivering sustainable, high-quality packaging solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers across a wide range of markets.
