Voith Group appoints Dirk Hoke as new CEO

The Shareholders' Committee of Voith Management GmbH has appointed Dirk Hoke as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA, effective April 1, 2025, at the latest. He succeeds the long-standing President and CEO, Dr. Toralf Haag, who left the company on Aug. 31, 2024. Until the start of Dirk Hoke, Andreas Endters serves as interim CEO of the Voith Group, in addition to his duties as CEO of Voith Paper.

In his career spanning 30 years across five different continents, Dirk Hoke has held management positions in the aviation, automotive and technology industries, with a strong focus on digitalization. After studying mechanical engineering at the Technical University Braunschweig (Germany), he started his professional career in 1994 at the automotive group Renault in Paris (France). Between 1996 and 2016, he worked at Siemens, where he held various executive-level positions, including CEO of Siemens Africa, CEO Industrial Solutions, CEO Customer Services and, most recently, CEO Large Drives. He then took over as CEO of Airbus Defense and Space and also served as a member of the Airbus Global Executive Committee. Dirk Hoke has served as CEO of Volocopter GmbH, based in Bruchsal (Germany), since September 2022.

Dirk Hoke is a Member of the Future Council of the German Federal Chancellor, which aims to increase the innovative strength of Germany as a place to do business. He is also an alumnus of the Young Global Leader Program of the World Economic Forum Davos.
